Hi Tim. If you a really patient long-term position builder, I think this is the trade of the year! I still like the AUD story compared with most other majors and once this bearish sentiment has passed, and the mkt has gotten itself suitably short, then we see a huge rally back above 1.00. But timing is everythg as always. I have a bid in the market at 8780 and will start building from there.

Good day Sean. Am considering building a long audusd posn from current or below current depressed levels. What’s your view of the prospect of it going back up to 96 levels in medium to slightly longer time frame? Thanks in advance.

Hi Sean, good day to you! It certainly looks all grim and gloomy for the aud both technically and fundamentally doesn’t it. What do you think of the prospects of audusd’s journey back to 96, not in the short term of cos but more of mid to slightly longer term? Followed that you were still hopeful before it broke 0.91 but what is your view from here? I am thinking of building a long posn in aud from current or mayb even below current depressed levels so would love to hear your views. Thanks in advance.
